YOGYAKARTA

I recently found out that Yogyakarta has chosen into one of the places to go in 2014 by NY times magazine along with the other 51 places.
RANCANG KENCONO CAVE
(www. yogyes.com)

"This central Javan sultanate draws crowds for its proximity to bewitching attractions: the monumental, wedding cake-esque Buddhist temple Borobudur, the soft-serve-ice-cream-shaped Hindu shrines of Prambanan, and pre-sunrise hikes to summit Indonesia’s friskiest volcano, Mount Merapi (which most recently erupted in 2013)." http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2014/01/10/travel/2014-places-to-go.htmlI've been there three times and yet it still amazes me everytime I went there. Malioboro, a streets full of treats. You can found various traditional things and more importantly the street food is definitely worth to try. Jogan Beach, A waterfall standing on the seashore. Hidden behind karst hills, Gunungkidul-at the South of Yogyakarta-turns out to be keeping a waterfall which falls directly to the sea. Gua Maria Tritis, Located in a wood on a karst hill in Gunungkidul, Gua Maria Tritis (a sacred place for worshiping Mother Marry in Catholicism) is like an oasis for the visitors who wish for peace. Rancang Kencono Cave is a cave that saves stories from the pre historic period until the struggle of Mataram people. A giant klumpit tree has been the witness of every story happening there. Many tourist visits Yogyakarta to find either serenity, entertainment, and historical experience. Some international movie has took place in this attractive city such as Java Heat ( directed by Conor Allyn, starred by Mickey Rourke and Kellan Lutz) and Barefoot Friends episode 3 ( a reality show starred by Kang Ho Dong, Yoo Se Yoon, Yoon Jong Shin, Kim Hyun Joong, Yoon Si Yoon, Kim Bum Soo, Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk, and After School‘s UEE).

Go visit Yogyakarta, and you'll believe me
